deserves from mild to wild. Dan can also do saddle bags, tool
bags, hand grips, etc. Prices are reasonable but vary depending
on seat pan, tooling time, and materials. Contact BDL to talk it over. Seat Pans
Springer seats: Dan will hammer it out to the size and dimensions you provide.Custom pans: BDL will make it provided with drawings, pictures, and dimensions Already made pans: Send us the pan and we'll add the padding and covering. Stock seats pans: Send in your stock pan and BDL can just recover it, or start over with new neopreme foam and a custom shape. Capabilities
Tooling:
Custom hand tooling is available. No 2 seats Dan does are alike.
Talk it over with us and we'll come up with a design that fits your
style. Send pictures or drawings of your idea, or Dan will design it
himself.Stitching: All seats are hand stitched with leather strap. All the traditional stitching methods are available. Seats can also be riveted to the pan. (See the Gallery for examples.) Dan does not do any machine stitched embroirdery. Materials
Leather: BDL uses only 100% genuine cow hides, buffalo, snake hide, ostrich, sting ray, alligator, crocodile, etc. If it used to have a pulse and its legal, we'll stretch it over a seat.Padding: Dan uses 100% neoprene on all his seats. Gel inserts are also available. Springer seats have choice of multiple spring types and mounting hardware. Dyes: Any color Rivets and dressings: Rivets are available in various finishes.
